About
Two happy owners of an extraordinary (and energetic) Border Collie, Uma!
Woofit exists because of Uma. She is gorgeous, she is clever, and she has roughly the energy of a small storm. A twenty-minute stroll never made a dent, so our days rearranged themselves around her: longer routes, earlier mornings, one more lap because look at that face.
Somewhere in there the walks stopped being a chore. We were counting days, chasing personal records, photographing the same lake in every light. So we built the app we were already playing in our heads, and Uma tested every version of it, mostly by refusing to come home.

What is Woofit?
Woofit is an iOS app that turns everyday dog walks into a game. It records each walk, then turns it into XP, Bones, quests, badges and ranks so both of you keep moving.
Does Woofit track dog walks?
Yes. Tap start and Woofit records the route, the distance and the duration with your phone in your pocket. Location is used only while a walk is running.
Is Woofit free?
Yes. The core walking experience is free: unlimited walks, tracking, XP, levels, ranks, daily and weekly quests, rhythm milestones and all 25 badges. Woofit+ is optional.
What are Bones?
Bones are what you collect on walks, daily goals, quests and badges. They are the currency of your progress, not something you buy. When the Woofit Shop opens, they are what you will spend in it.
Can I walk with more than one dog?
Yes. Free walks with one dog, Woofit+ raises that to three. A walk taken together stays a single walk, and each dog keeps their own XP, streak and badges. If a subscription lapses, no dog is ever deleted.
What is the Woofit Shop?
A place to spend your Bones on cosmetics for your dogs, with seasonal collections planned. It is coming soon, it will be open on Free and on Woofit+, and nothing is on sale yet.
What are Woofit+ Perks?
Real-world rewards from pet brands and partners: deals, vouchers and offers. Coming soon, and part of Woofit+. No partner is signed yet, so there is nothing to claim today.
What are streaks?
A streak counts your consecutive walking days, with milestones at 3, 7, 14, 30 and 100 days. Missing a day resets the counter, but your XP, rank, Bones and badges stay.
Can I save photos from my walks?
Yes. Every walk can keep a photo memory with its route and stats. Woofit+ raises the limit to three photos per walk.
Does Woofit work without Woofit+?
Completely. Nothing in the core loop is paywalled: walks, quests, streaks and every badge are free. Woofit+ adds up to three dogs, up to three photos per memory, advanced stats and monthly challenges.
Is my location private?
Location is used only during an active walk, never in the background outside a walk. On the Live Map, only your friends can see you by default; if you opt in to nearby Woofiters, people who are not your friends get an approximate position, never your exact GPS, and your presence disappears when the walk ends. Data is stored securely with Supabase on EU servers, never sold and never used for advertising. See the privacy policy.
Can I add friends on Woofit?
Yes. Create a Woofit handle, add friends (friendships are mutual) and compare your weekly walking distance on a friends leaderboard. There is no public feed, no comments and no private messaging: Woofit stays a walking app.
Who can see me while I walk?
You choose: nobody, friends only (the default) or nearby Woofiters if you opt in. Unknown users never receive your precise GPS location, only an approximate one, and your social presence is temporary: it disappears when the walk ends. You can remove a friend, block a user or report inappropriate behavior at any time.
